Zero Waste HORECA for the 5* The Chania Hotel

The Ecological Recycling Society in cooperation with Zero Waste HORECA during the recent award ceremony, which took place in summer 2024, awarded the 5* The Chania Hotel for its sustainability and recycling methods, as prescribed the Ministry of Enviroment. The hotel according to the standards of European Union follows to a great extent the instructions for proper waste and waste management. As a new business, The Chania Hotel must set an example not only for its guests but also for the Chania community in which it is part of.
